Before a person picks Central State of the Carolinas (CSC) as their service provider, an in-depth interview takes place. During this process the individual and program coordinator meet to ask each other questions.
This process allows everyone involved to:
- Get to know one another.
- Discuss what it is the person wants and needs from CSC.
- Have a clear understanding of what CSC can offer with regard to support services.
Once services begin, a team (which includes the individual being supported, guardian [if applicable], case manager, program coordinator, and other pertinent people in the individual's life) comes together to discuss and write a formal plan of service that is consistent with the person's desires, hopes and dreams.
