Central State of the Carolinas (CSC) employs over 90 people who are serious about the work they do for the people who have chosen our services.
CSC recruits trained, reliable, caring, committed and upbeat people to carry out our array of support services. An in-depth application and screening process is used to ensure we hire the most qualified staff.
The Direct Support Staff provides assistance and goal-training to people in their homes, as well as in the community.
Home Supervisors also provide direct support services, as well as carrying out the day-to-day administrative duties for the homes.
CSC's Program Coordinators are the liaisons between the homes and the Local Area Programs. They are responsible for ensuring that people get the assistance and support they want and need.
The overall operation and oversight of CSC rests with the Executive Director. Our Executive Director, Annie Meloy, has over 24 years of experience in the mental health/human services field, holding administrative as well as direct support positions. She is the liaison to both family members and community service providers.
